Lauren Jaimes is an artist whose sound lives where the shoreline meets small-town back roads, combining acoustic storytelling with coastal tones and stripped back traditional country instrumentation. Life on the coast paired with frequent trips to Nashville have allowed her to uniquely embody the coastal country vibe.
Lauren's music has been featured on VEVO’s True Country Playlist, American Songwriter, and CMT. com. She has performed at countless venues across the northeast and Tennessee, including The Bluebird Cafe, The Prudential Center, The Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun, The Triad Theater, The Montauk Music Festival, and The New Jersey Folk Festival.
Inspired by Rockaway Beach and recorded in Nashville, Lauren's most recent project, Seasons of Coastal Country, was released on April 17, 2026. Seasons of Coastal Country contains eight tracks that are meant to feel nostalgic and lived in, emphasizing the ebbs and flows of life on the coast of NYC. Some of these songs are an examination of life's highs and lows, some are reflective or battle darkness, and some are just simply about the funny correlation between really big jacked-up trucks and tiny ooh-hoo-hoo's.
Artist statement
I grew up in a musical household by the ocean where a love for writing and poetry was instilled in me from an early age. As a writer I strive to be truthful and authentic in everything I create, and as an artist I feel most at home telling stories that live where the traditional lyricism of Country, Folk, and Americana intersect.
I often write from real life experiences or the experiences of others that have come in and out of my life, and I enjoy taking a small idea or a simple truth and building a message or a story around it. This can come as a snippet of a melody, a conversation I heard while waiting for the bus, or an interesting phrase or title. I love the challenge of turning a fragment into a full song.
